Uday Chopra Opts Out of the movie Hook Ya Crook

http://l.yimg.com/t/movies/movietalkies/20090203/15/udaychopra-5-1_1233654209_large.jpgDespite having Yash Chopra for a father and Aditya Chopra for his brother, Uday Chopra's career is really going nowhere. Nobody knows this better than the actor himself, who is believed to have signed his first outside film, Hook Ya Crook, with David Dhawan. But the latest buzz is that he is out of the movie.

According to sources, Uday has decided to opt out of the movie and actor Shreyas Talpade has stepped in to his shoes. There are a couple of reasons being given for Uday's decision. One of them being that he would have to play second fiddle to John Abraham, the lead actor of the movie. Also the fact, that finally Yash Raj Films is making a solo film with him as hero, one which will be directed by Jugal Hansraj, who last made the animation flick Roadside Romeo. Uday initially grabbed Hook Ya Crook, because he didn't have anything on hand. But once Pyaar Impossible was launched by Yash Raj, he has got very busy with the project, which will see him starring opposite Priyanka Chopra. Little wonder then that he opted put from playing John's sidekick. But it has come as a stroke of good luck for Shreyas Talpade, who was last seen in Golmaal Returns
