If you have been waiting to see the steamy chemistry between Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori, the uber-sexy Mexican bombshell, get ready for your patience to be tested. For there is every chance on earth that Kites, previously slated for the year-end release, may be pushed back to the next year.

According to a source, the Roshans want to release the movie on January 15, 2010, instead of December 18, 2009. For them, ‘Kites’ is very crucial as this is their first-ever international film. So after a lot of thinking they have apparently decided to release the movie next year, exactly a decade after Hrithik’s first movie Kaho Na Pyaar Hai got released.

Producer Rakesh Roshan informs a daily, “I will take a decision by September 10 on whether I’m coming in December this year or next January.”

The movie is directed by the talented Anurag Basu and has spurred much curiosity among the movie buffs.

Hope the wait would be worth it.
